We are proud to be partnering with a leading iconic Australian retail group who have 500 stores and 6500 dedicated team members across the ANZ Region. After a recent organisational redesign, they are seeking a visionary Group Manager – WHS to drive their safety culture forward.

About The Role:
This newly shaped role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the transformation of the safety culture. You’ll have the freedom to unleash your creativity and contemporary thinking, shaping a new age approach to WHS management. As the Group Manager, you’ll oversee a team of 3 passionate professionals across safety and workers’ compensation. While this is an end-to-end strategic role, you will also need to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the strategic transformation of the safety culture, fostering openness, inclusivity, and empowerment.
  • Develop and implement innovative WHS strategies, challenging traditional approaches and driving change.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders across retail stores and distribution centres to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
  • Manage board reporting and actively participate in board discussions on safety performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring their professional development and success.
