As part of their ongoing commitment to safety and continuous improvement, they are seeking a Group Work Health & Safety Manager to lead and uplift their WHS function.

About The Role:
Reporting to the Executive Director, this role will take ownership of the organisation’s WHS strategy, framework, and systems, ensuring a best practice approach to safety across all operations.

You will operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, partnering closely with leaders across the business to embed a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the organisation-wide WHS framework
  • Providing expert WHS advice and coaching to Executive and operational leaders
  • Designing and maintaining WHS systems, policies, and procedures
  • Conducting audits, inspections, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites
  • Leading incident investigations and driving corrective actions
  • Identifying key risks and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Supporting WHS committees and governance reporting
  • Developing and delivering WHS training and education programs

About You:
This is a senior role requiring a balance of strategic thinking and operational delivery. You will be confident working across a complex, multi-site environment and able to influence stakeholders at all levels.

You will bring:

  • Significant experience in a WHS leadership role, ideally in a stand alone capacity
  • Proven ability to design and implement WHS systems and drive cultural change
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • A hands-on, pragmatic approach with the ability to “roll up your sleeves”
  • Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety
