Our client is a leading food manufacturer that have an established footprint across Australia and New Zealand, employing over 5000 people across multiple sites. Due to an orginsational redesign they currently have a need for a newly created National HSE Operations manager to join their team based out of Castlemaine.

About the role
Reporting into the GM – HSE you will be responsible for leading HSE Operational activity across the entire business which includes a significant manufacturing site, two farms, and supporting sales and administration staff around the country. Leading a team of 6 HSE Business Partners you will ensure that the business has the capability, expertise and practical know how to meet or exceed required standards and company targets.

About you
This a role where you will need to engage all levels of the business and lead a significant team so its essential you have exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally. You will have the ability to work operationally as well as strategically and be highly consultative and collaborative. Technically you will have runs on the board in a safety leadership capacity and experienced managing a team.
