About the Company
Acquainted Talent are partnering with Australia’s largest bioenergy and emissions reductions company, dedicated to achieving a zero carbon future. For over 25 years this company has led the way in landfill biogas-to-energy technology, capturing and destroying methane to mitigate climate impact. Due to significant investment into the business and growth within their Victorian region they have a need for a newly created Safety Advisor to join their team based out of Derrimut.

About the Role
Based out of Derrimut but looking after multiple sites across Victoria and Tasmania you will be responsible for promoting and implementing safety policies and procedures across Victorian operations.

You will be the subject matter expert and provide boots on ground safety support to your stakeholders. Responsibilities will involve conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and providing training. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining a safe work environment and fostering a culture of safety excellence among employees.

About You
To be successful in this role you will be able to engage at stakeholders at all levels bringing them along the journey. You will have the ability to work in a fast paced, operational environment. Technically you will display a proactive and detail-oriented approach to safety management and solid understanding on regulations. Technically you will have proven safety experience within a blue collar / operational environment.
