HSE Coordinator – Contract

Acquainted Talent are recruiting an HSE Coordinator to join an established industrial services business based in Epping.
This is a newly created support role, working closely with the person leading HSE across the business. It will initially have a strong administration and coordination focus, giving you time to learn the systems, operations and way of working before gradually taking on broader HSE responsibilities.
It could be a great opportunity for someone early in their HSE career who has recently completed their studies or developed some initial experience and is looking to build their practical exposure within an operational environment.
The role
While there is no formal position description and the scope will develop over time, your responsibilities are likely to include:
Maintaining HSE documents, registers and records
Assisting with reporting and general HSE administration
Following up actions and helping keep activities on track
Supporting the day-to-day coordination of the HSE function
Learning the company’s systems and operational requirements
Gradually taking on broader HSE responsibilities as your knowledge develops
About you
We are looking for someone who:
Has completed, or is currently completing, a relevant HSE qualification
Has strong administration and organisational skills
Is comfortable working with systems, documents and reporting
Communicates well and is confident following up with others
Is keen to learn and develop within a hands-on operational business
Can commence at short notice
This is an initial three-month contract with a view to extend. You will be employed through Acquainted Talent and paid on a timesheet basis.
